If you’re looking for information on how to stop drinking alcohol, this post is going to be the opposite of what everybody else is telling you to do.

I haven’t drunk alcohol for 2 full years, and I did it without AA, willpower, or rehab. But, back in the day, I had a pretty bad drinking problem.

When you read this post, and you understand how to stop drinking alcohol the right way, the penny drops. You won’t need willpower, you won’t need meetings and you won’t need to “change the habit”.

At this point, you may believe that you need all of these things.

You may believe you need willpower. You may believe you have to attend meetings forever. And, you may believe you have to call yourself an alcoholic.

Some people are fine doing that, but I tried it and it didn’t work for me. I listened to what everybody else told me I should be doing for 10-years, and nothing worked.

Sure, it might have lasted for varying degrees of time – but I always felt like I was missing out. I was sober but miserable.

There is another way. And, it starts with reading this blog post in full.

We’re going to break down a number of things that will help you shift your mindset when you are thinking about how to stop drinking alcohol.

When I was a drinker, having a drink made everything beautiful. I felt relaxed. It made that song on my record player sound better. You laughed at jokes that you wouldn't find funny when sober. The world was a better, more chill place. But it was expensive, and made me feel and look unattractive. I'd spend most of Sunday recovering when I should have been out doing something.
I gave it priority over other more important things.
Now I can go to a pub for lunch and a fruit juice, and just aren't tempted by alcohol. I can celebrate NYE with a glass of Coca cola or water without feeling as if I've missed out. I stopped thinking about alcohol, so no longer felt as if I needed it. Without your nothing in life is good.

You gotta change your mindset and it’s easy to stop drinking. Change the way you think about alcohol and open your eyes to the truth

In this pandemic i challenged myself not to consume alcohol and i did for 45 days, and i thought I'll quit drinking, but things have not changed for me at all. Even after 45 days my craving for alcohol is same as it was before.
Is this normal? Or i just can't stop?

Hey another method that works is acting like your are drinking once you are with friends that drink... meaning if you drink to lower anxiety and stress try to act ask you had three glasses on you.. more extrovertive, louder, goofy... we all did that when kids so we all know how to. By the way, whats your oppinion on None alco beers? meaning... i go out and ask for non alco... but Ive heard...is not good... well im vegge and eat fake meat HAHAH so I find it useful.
