Hi, Tom! I am Brazilian. In my country, differently, We used to have coffee instead of tea. Having tea is less common here. Brazilian people drink coffee for every reason or occasion: In the breakfast, in the breaks during the job, after lunch and dinner. In their houses, people usually prepare regular coffee, but outside the espresso is the preferred form. We also like to talk about the weather, especially to start a conversation even with a stranger (inside the lift, for instance) or to "break the ice". Brazilian people like the queues as well and they used to stand too close to each other! I don't understand this!

In Russia we love to speak about the weather and drink tea everyday but without milk: drink tea or coffee with milk is for kids, you know? And sarcasm, I think it came from the West culture, we didn't have it so much before.
But we HATE queues. The national sport is to try skip the queue without punch from somebody who stays in line. The most common reason to skip is "I'm just to ask a question" and everybody's answer is "We all are here just to ask a question" :)

I love how most British people are so well mannered, that time when I visited London I was checking my emails and I accidentally bumped into another guy and he said sorry to me even before I apologized.
