I'm German and after watching this video, I'm having a British accent and got convinced that the Earth is flat. Thumbs up if you feel the same.

"Change your A's, change your R's, change your T's."

So, what you're saying is that doing a British accent is an *ART.*

For context: This only counts for certain parts of England (there's plenty of accents in england alone, let alone all of Britain e.g. scotland, wales etc), particularly the south. As a northern english man we don't do the long "A" sound like southerners and we also rarely pronounce T's (In my county of yorkshire, "the" is often removed from a sentence and shortened to " t' " as in "I'm just goin' to t' pub up t' road")

Instead of going "third" you'd say "third"...I most definitely comprehend what you've just said, thank you sir

A good practice for the “soft R” he talks about that I use is “Richard the Third”. You can easily see the difference between an American pronunciation and a more British one. I just say it over and over until my R’s round out.

him talking about “r” is like when the eye doctor asks you which one is clearer. they sound exactly the same.

As a speaker of UK English, this isn't very accurate to how we sound collectively. Below are some tips that can help you.

• Pronounce vowels a bit longer than you normally would.

• Pronounce your R's at a lower tone in formal environments.

• It's completely fine to say stereotypical phrases, you can even change up some things and put them in your own words.

• Be picky and notice ever difference between your accent and UK English, these little things are vital.

• I will answer all questions to the best of my ability.

So for those who are getting confused with the "R" he is saying that you need not to emphasis on it so much like

Third is going to sound like "Thid" but with a little r sound.

First will be "Fist".. that's how I interpreted it..
