I was hoping you'd mention this but you didn't. I hope I'm not the only one that feels this way. Has anyone ever felt that when you show your feelings for someone, they stop caring? It's always happened to me. I'm really into this girl right now, and like, she was the one who started talking to me in the first place. She sent me the first text (we're from the same school but she was too shy to talk to me face to face) and for quite a few days she always texted first. Love nowadays is all about mindgames which sucks. So we all know the importance of that first text and who sends it. Recently however, I've been getting more comfortable with her. I text her first sometimes and I've been telling her I like her (I mean that in a friendly way, she knows that, but I'm making it so that it sort of gives away a few of my actual feelings so that she knows what I mean deep down). Now, she seems to have lost a bit of interest. She barely texts me first and if I don't text her we almost never talk. At school she is super shy and she almost runs away from me. A few days ago I actually offered her a gift and she even started crying because of how shy she was. She liked it which was nice and everything felt fine. Now, once again, she seems to have lost all interest. This is fucking stupid. Have you ever heard the saying "the forbidden fruit is the most desirable one"? That's what's happening here. Once she realized that I was into her, she stopped caring. Why? Because she knows she doesn't have to try anymore, because she knows I like her and that she doesn't have to do shit. So she acts like she doesn't care. That hurts a lot. Because I don't know if she's just acting, or if she actually doesn't care anymore. Stupid fucking mind games.

I once told my crush that I liked her. She then came up with the "well, you're a cool guy" response. Then, a couple of months later, I asked her out by creating a song for her. It had a piano part and everything. It was a train wreck. The pianist didn't practice, and she wasn't into dating. I know that at this point I have ruined my chances with her. I went through the same situation. Every time I confessed to a girl I had a crush on them, it never went well. I came across either creepy or really really creepy, yeah (especially if you don't know them).

Most crushes start of from people we haven't interacted with, a lot of time and heart ache would be saved if people just interacted with their crushes. I've been put off girls so many times after just a brief chat, no longer consider them crushes because I know we're not compatible.

As soon as a person blurts out their true feelings to a crush they instantly loose value and as an outcome kill all attraction EVER possible. No one wants to be given what they want, people want to work for it. Their isn't a word called 'seduction' for nothing even the handsomest of men have to posses it.

Attraction is stronger after time and that is why it's best to talk your crush and get to know them before telling confessing.

As a girl I feel this is completely inaccurate. I would much rather have a guy tell me he likes me than have him keep it a secret. If a guy tells me that he likes me I'm not the type of person to be rude about it or made him feel bad about himself and honestly it doesn't matter if a girl doesn't feel the same way because she will feel extremely flattered and respond positively

There is a simpler way to do what he's saying so yes you don't want to tell the persons hey I love you that will just make stuff weird (things in her head ) who is this guy. Have I met him before. Since everyone is sharing their stories, I'll share mine.

Alright, so I am currently in 7th grade and I liked this girl. I never told anybody, but everyone thought we both like each other, and they always shipped out names and such and it was really annoying. Then one day we started talking about crushes and I said I liked "no one" and she made up a name and said Aiden but told me she was kidding. Then that Friday, she said she was going to tell me who she liked, and I was kind of nervous but excited because she had said that she hadn't told anyone like me. Then Friday, she said that she wasn't going to say it, but then finally she did, and she said it was me and walked away. And I was so happy yet kind of shocked as I didn't think that she liked me. Then, since I had her number, I told her that I liked her, but nothing really happened, but still EVERYONE found out (advice, avoid gossip it's the worst). It was kind of awkward because we really weren't going out and everyone kept asking and we both kind of just awkwardly avoided answering. Then today, which was 3 weeks from the time she told me, I finally asked her out
