So, how powerful tcm is ?I can tell you.
I got rheumatoid arthritis when i was 12. And doctors from hospital told my father that i had to live on some kind of medicine for the rest of my life.rheumatoid arthritis was uncurrable then, and my farther got this tcm doctor.With twice of week of acpuncture (big thick needles) for 3 or four months and big packs of blue herb pills, now im fully recovered.Also, in three years after you recovered from rheumatoid arthritis you can't have it again, otherwise it might be uncurrable for the doctor.

I believe that chinese medicine is amazing for small illnesses, but if you have illnesses such as cancer, athsma, infection, tumors, or anything else serious, it should only be used alongside or as a last resort to western treatment

My nephew's urticaria was 100% cured by TCM(Tradtional Chinese Medicine). He's been cured of it for 3 years now. From what I've read of conventional western medical treatment of urticaria, they would have him on daily Zyrtec pills. In a few years it would fail, then he would take monthly Xolair shots, then that would fail and he would end up in ER and given Prednisone steroid shots, but that would eventually fail too. I'm so glad we tried TCM. It only took two months and only $170 with TCM.
But TCM has its flaws. It needs to undergo scientific studies and become standardize and regulated. Luckily it seems there are numerous studies on many aspects of TCM going on right now and some are getting accepted.
