I’m 49, forced as child to go to Sunday school and church every Sunday. Then I thought I was Christian. Later years I resented this and became an atheist. Until I watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics. It’s disgusted me. I turned it off. I was angry 😡. I then knew God was calling me. I prayed for the first time in 30 yrs. I can now say I’m truly saved as the Holy Spirit entered my soul and I’m on trials and struggles every night when I try to sleep as the devil tries to get in my thoughts. I welcome this as I know it’s all real now and I pray and chase him away. I found your channel and I’m proud of you as a strong Christian

Regardless of how "belief" and "faith" are defined in 2024, I say believing in Jesus is as simple as Moses' bronze serpent in the desert. When you have acknowledged you're a sinner deserving of Hell and that you cannot get to heaven on your own merits, you acknowledge who Jesus is and what he did on the cross, then rising again and you believe on him. From that point onward you are saved!

Yep. Once you’re born again you can’t go back. The issue is there’s false converts in the church. You either have true faith and sealed with The Holy Spirit or you don’t.

Most Americans view of “belief” is just mere credence. Which is very different than the real Greek word for “belief” “pisteuo” which means a sincere trust followed by action.

I was saved and born again around twelve years old. I felt the indwelling Holy Spirit powerfully. I went out in the world at eighteen and tried to control my own life. I often made decisions against the convictions of the Holy Spirit. I grieved Him. I was miserable, spiritually attacked by the enemy, punished, and came back to Him. So speaking from experience it does happen. I wish I had just left my life in His hands to begin with. I also think it would have been easier to have been saved after experiencing the world as a young man.

I do believe one big reason OSAS is rejected is because many false converts say they got saved when they was a child during an altar call or sinners prayer, then live sinful and worldly lives later on. So the anti OSAS crowd sees this and it reinforces their argument.
