Fleetwood Mac - Silver Springs (Official Live Video) [HD]
The official live performance of Fleetwood Mac - "Silver Springs" live at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA in May 1997 - newly remastered in HD to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band's Billboard #1 live album 'The Dance'. Fleetwood Mac’s 50 Years – Don’t Stop is available to order now and be sure to see if the band is coming to a town near you. Get your copy here
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were high school sweethearts who started their career as a duo to little success. They joined the band Fleetwood Mac in 1975, helping the band to become one of the best selling of all time. The song Silver Springs, written by Stevie Nicks, was intended for their 1977 album Rumours, but its exclusion from the album marked a growing tension with Stevie and the band. The song was about the ending of her romantic relationship with guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. Stevie waited 20 years to perform her song with the band and she does not disappoint. For any fans of Daisy Jones and the Six book, or movie, this performance was the authors inspiration.

The line "I know I could've loved you but you would not let me" always hits me hard. This song is amazing 👏🏼

This is as real as it gets. Stevie was always a very intense person.
There is one concert from this tour where she got so emotional during this song that she completely broke down crying, frozen with her back to the audience, and Lindsey had to finish the song. They had to take Stevie back stage after the song for a while so she could pull her self together.
That death stare she gives Lindsey is spine chilling.

Stevie's deeper toned voice is so distinctive. And it gave her ballads muscle and authenticity.

This song is if anything… euphonius. I always enjoyed its’ sound. But to comment on the video I can only borrow from something that I read on another video… “To play lead guitar at your own funeral is crazy…” Brilliant.

Hard to believe a woman who has limited vocal range is so damned good. This is an iconic performance from an absolute giant in the industry. Bravo, Stevie, Bravo Fleetwood Mac!

As brutal as Stevie and Lindsay were to one another, there's still am underlying pain. The guitar solo here comes across as a sorrowful apology. It's breathtaking. And the last minute....😳 Holy crap!!! This is one of the best live performances ever.

My all time favorite version of this live performance. The intensity in Stevie's looks are so menacing

I cannot make it through this performance without crying, because their feelings are so palpable. And what a badass is Stevie Nicks for writing a song about her relationship with Lindsay Buckingham Knowing he would play guitar and sing on it 😅 OUCH

Lindsey was a perfectionist which drove the whole band crazy especially Stephanie Lynn Nicks

If you watch the entire concert (The Dance) you'll see that they actually have deep respect for one another, especially during the song Landslide.

Stevie and Lindsey do love one another, still. When he stepped out on her, she wrote this song. He wrote Go Your Own Way, about her. In 1977 GYOW got on the Rumors album, but SS did not. Stevie was extremely pissed off. 20 years later...here we are. I grew up listening to all these artists. We were so very blessed.

I was lucky to have Fleetwood Mac with its original line up RIP Christine .Stevie Nicks and Lyndsey Buckingham go back years before Fleetwood Mac. I had their album called Buckingham and Nicks at one time it was amazing .

When she sings this song I think that in her head there is no audience, no camera, no arena. Just them.

When I seen this concert on MTV I was amazed. Lyndsey Buckinghams guitar playing on “I’m so afraid” and “Big Love” is awesome. Stevie Nicks vocals are excellent. The whole band is awesome. As soon as this came out on DVD, in 1998, I rushed out and bought it. When I read their back story I was enthralled with the what all they accomplished and went thru. This song captured my heart. Listening and watching the interaction between Stevie and Lyndsey was mesmerizing. It’s a shame they didn’t make it as a couple. Great reaction as usual guys!!

"Silver Springs" was supposed to be on the "RUMOURS" album but was cut at the last minute. Stevie was devastated about it.

Saw her performing in the Ziggodome in Amsterdam last friday.
76 years old and she still is amazing!

This may be the most emotional performance I have ever heard. Stevie is singing straight at Lindsay and he can't look away. She wrote it for him. Lindsay took it like a man. Stevie almost lost it at the end there, the vocals wavered, which only makes it better.
