If you think this banger is raw and powerful gotta listen to "silver springs" from this 1997 the dance tour, Stevie not only writing about her ex but making him perform it as well, Stevie giving it to him! with those eyes glaring right at him and seemingly yelling those powerful lyrics right at him!!!

I think what makes Fleetwood Mac so good for me is that all five members are true musicians. 3 of them are gifted lyricists. When you have all that talent it's almost impossible to not turn out hit after hit.

Lindsey Buckingham doesn’t get enough credit for being an extremely creative guitar player.

Can we just give Mick Fleetwood his props for the phenomenal drumming. He is severely underrated as a drummer.

SILVER SPRINGS from this same concert is intense!!

Lindsey is a much under rated guitarist and songwriter. His style of fingerpicking blows my mind to this day. And you are correct, the tension and chemistry between him and Stevie in this performance is palpapble.

Sure wish you had watched the 1982 live performance of The Chain. Talk about tension!! Oh, and one hell of a performance!

“Big Love”, just Lindsay and his guitar. So good!

Released in 1977 it's hard to believe this song is 47 years old and is timeless and rocking as ever.

Their harmony is probably the best of any rock band.

Thus whole show is worth checking out. Especially 'Silver Springs' and 'Don't Stop'.

At some point, you owe it to yourself to just sit and watch this entire show from beginning to end. Not for reaction purposes, just because it's absolutely "lightning caught in a bottle" amazing.

This performance shows just how great they were. So emotional, so locked in, so GOOD. That's why they're legends!

Seen them four times in my life. So good. Was born in 61 so these songs are mine high school ÿears. So many great bands from the 60s and 70s

Watch Stevie as she is turned toward Lindsay and is singing directly at him, and later her facial expressions; tells you all you need to know about the song’s meaning. Sebs, props to you for being open to, and having such a great appreciation for the music of my generation.

I believe "The Chain" was referring to the band. Regardless of their relationship issues the Band would never break.

It's "raw and tangible" because they had broken off their relationship in 1976 during the recording of "Rumours" so the emotion was real.

The album Rumors was one the defining sounds of the 70’s. This is one of the best songs on it. What a great time it was to be a teenager.

I've been into Fleetwood Mac from before Stevie Nicks. We loved listening to Christine McVie. She had a special singing voice. But for me my favorite Fleetwood Mac song back then was "HYPNOTIZED". Friends would travel to NYC to see their concerts. When Stevie Nicks & Lindsy Buckingham joined they were an even better group.
