I am fully agreeed that every citizens have guns for his survival. Bcz everyone has right to live. So many common peoples across the India became murdered due to they are weak.

As per the current policy one must have a grave and imminent threat issued for ransom or should have been victimised and or had a bad experience to warrant a need for an arms license on top of that it needs to be proved as well.
Should one be issued a license after being raped, looted, kidnapped or murdered? how can it be proved even?

The governmemt is well aware of the fact that am armed citizenry works as a check on potential government overreach or perhaps want the citizens to stay oppressed forever.
Yet, we Indians still call ourselves free.
We were oppressed by the mughals, then oppressed by the british and now we are oppressed by our own governments.
This is no true freedom, this is a sign of a potential tyrant rule
