NO! START HERE!
* Get your facts CORRECT!
* STOP calling the conscious decisions of homicidal and suicidal people "gun violence"!
* 2:20 "In the 1930's they banned machine guns in response to gangs" WRONG! The national firearms act of 1934 only implemented a registry, and a $200 tax. What you would call a ban on machine guns didn't come until 1986 with the Hughes Amendment. This banned the registration of new machine gun after the enactment date of May 1986. Still to this day, lawful Americans living in 38 states can own machine gun made prior to 1986.
*2:37 " In the 90s, President Clinton's crime bill introduced a federal ban on assault weapons" WRONG AGAIN! The 1994 Assault Weapons ban only restricted certain features (flash hiders, bayonet lugs, collapsible stocks) none of which has any effect on how the gun functions. Gun manufactures simply offered the same firearms without these banned features. Magazines over 10rds were still available, just at a premium price!

No matter how you spin it, support for more gun regulations after the civil unrest, lock downs, a threat of de funding police, is in a free fall. Especially with Biden's failed withdraw from Afghanistan leaving US military weapons in the hands of Taliban Terrorist who are already using those weapon on their own people who helped Americans, and who do not conform to Sharia law.

Nope. Most gun owners are tired of meeting you at the middle ground. So far gun owners have been the only ones being responsible. It's always meet in the middle, then meet in this middle it will eventually be no middle until that right is stripped away. Foot is down and we must not budge

Punishing the law abiding citizens for what criminals do is ineffective and wrong!

The fundamental difference between pro- and anti-gun groups is: one promoting self-reliance and personal responsibility vs one relying on government control for everything.

It’s already illegal for criminals to buy and use guns. What laws will prevent criminals from using guns without infringing on the right of law abiding citizens to protect themselves?

The extremes of universal gun confiscation and rescinding all firearms laws are both irrational and unworkable. For better or worse, the proliferation of firearms in the US indicate a ship that has sailed long ago. Only responsible citizens abide by current gun laws. Violent criminals ignore them. Disarming responsible citizens is a dream scenario for sociopathic thugs or authoritarian governments. That said, more effective methods of tracking guns used in violent crimes goes to the heart of why many good people choose to own firearms in the first place.

I have 1 word. Prohibition. We banned the purchase of alcohol and all it did was create more crime

more laws and regulations, just like drugs right? I mean, how is it possible to get something highly highly illegal into highly highly secured places, like prisons? If gun laws worked, Chicago has be the safest place in the world! People, practice your 2a right and arm yourself, keep in mind the average police response time is 10 min. That's a long time to wait for help if you're unarmed!

“One of the first things the Nazis did in Germany was take away all the guns of the citizens. This meant that the government could do anything it wanted while the citizens were unable to object. As a Jew, I am fearful of a government that has all the guns with the citizens all unarmed.”

You guys fail to mention that the majority of gun deaths in the u.s are gang related or self defense. The amount of innocent people being killed by a gun is extremely small

20000 people didn't die because of a gun, they died because someone killed them.

Imagine having states with the toughest gun laws in the entire country such as Chicago -- observe they have the highest amount of crime and gun violence in the US, and then concluding that laws just need to be even tougher and also extended to the rest of the nation

Way I see it, the only people who seriously want stricter gun laws & regulation are:
•People who don't own guns/haven't tried buying one/Have never fired a gun (People who don't know guns; or quite plainly "ignorants")
•People who don't embrace the American culture/identity enough and are pansies afraid of weapons and can't stand the sight of a person having one, despite it being their right
•Tyrants who do not believe you have the right to defend yourself, even if the opposite is what comes out of their mouth, specially when it's something like "I believe you have the right to defend yourself *but...*", you either do or you don't -- if you don't then you don't take effective and efficient self defense seriously enough to understand that one should arm themselves with as much strength as it is available to them to deter their would be assailants, and if you do then you simply recognize I can defend myself with any means available to me

God bless the Constitution, God bless the United States and may God have mercy on the ignorant, the fearful and the tyrannical

And maybe unconstitutional but we don't have this problem in Canada or the rest of the first world just the United States. We have a right to live
