I don't know you guys, but I feel so good when I'm watching her videos, because it makes me feel like I'm fluent in English. I even don't need to read the subtitles to understand her. I wish all the natives speaks like her.

Hahaha true, it's funny when you dream in english, my mom usually tell me that I speak in english while I'm sleeping.
Or sometimes happens that you don't realize in which language you are thinking, for example: once I answered to a person in english when we were having a Spanish conversation, lol

Hi Stephanie, I love this video! I'm an English teacher in Brazil, and I often hear teachers saying " stop translating in your mind, think in English", and I totally disagree with that! Your videos was the first time I've seen a person saying not to do that! I'm gonna share it!!!

The easiest way to start thinking in english is to listen as much as you can to the native speakers like you stafanie and then your camputer brain will automatically fix the way they speak...it's just matter of time.

Dear Stefanie, thanks for another great video. From my own experience (being on both sides: a learner and a teacher) I agree with you entirely: thinking in English comes along with fluent speaking and this is the matter of time and amount of practising, it certainly needs some sort of background of learning. Basic knowledge is most frequently used and easier, but progressing is smth not without stumbles on the way. I still check the new (especially sofisticated ) words in several dictionaries and translate into russian in order to understand it fully.

That's totally true, I'm in an intensive English program right now and and before I had to translate everything on my mind, by now I'm able to maintain a conversation with someone and I even don't realize that I'm thinking in English after a long time.
