Can Back Pain Cause Stomach Pain?

One of the most common question people ask about back pain is “can back pain cause stomach pain?”.

So, in this video, I will talk in detail about the relation between back pain and stomach pain.

Are you suffering from any type of digestive issue?

Well, there is no need to feel any shame about it; millions of Americans suffer from some type of stomach problem.

But just because these types of problems are so common, that doesn’t make them something that should be ignored.

Obviously, stomach problems can be very uncomfortable and even sometimes very painful.

They can also be quite embarrassing as well!

Stomach issues can be an indication that there is other minor illness distress the body in another area.

When people are dealing with nausea, diarrhea, heartburn, or any other stomach problem, they almost always think the problem is isolated to their digestive system.

As a matter of fact, one of the most common areas that can cause stomach issues is back.

In this video, we will discuss how back pain can cause stomach problems.

The back is a critical part of the human body.

The back is so important because it is the home of your spinal cord.

Your spinal cord is tasked with distributing nerve signals from the brain to the body and back again.

Your spinal cord is the control panel of your entire central nervous system.

So, any problems in your back can cause auxiliary issues in other parts of the body.

These injuries can certainly manifest themselves as problems in your gut.

The most common back injuries are herniated discs, disc compression, and strained ligaments.

The lower back, also known as the lumbar spine, is particularly vulnerable to injury.

The lower back is also one of the most important parts of your body for proper nerve function.

Any type of biomechanical injury to the lumbar spine has the potential to affect your stomach and other parts of your digestive tract because many of the nerves that control and monitor the digestive system are located here.

Any damage to the spine, especially in the lumbar spine area, can cause faulty signals that make your body feel discomfort in the gut area.

This is where the help of the right chiropractor can come in handy.

A qualified chiropractor will put you through a full body examination to find the root cause of your digestion issues.

If they determine that these issues are caused by a spinal cord issue, a chiropractor is the best option to realign your spine to correct your stomach issues in a natural, non-invasive manner.

The first thing to do if you are suffering from stomach problems is to get it diagnosed correctly.
