Here I am December 6, 2020. My surface dropped a short distance on the carpet and never turned on after that. I found this after it had been sitting for over a year because I refused to throw it out. Well guess what? THIS RIGHT HERE WORKED TODAY!!!! My tablet just randomly turned on after a few seconds after releasing all the buttons. Does it apply for surface 3 as well? Mine is just surface 3 and has the same issue, not knowing how to solve the problem
