If you watch this guys video carefully you might note that the metal tiny plate or guard that comes on to the screen is not be placed back properly. In the beginning of the video you'll see the plate turn from underneath the upper electronics of the home button. On the end of the video it does not come back under the electronics but instead stays away from it. Out side of it. This metal plate, as I figured out is not just a plate or guard. It is a ground or has a similar function. This is, I'll guess, the essential part to let the fingerprint ID work again. If not, your fingerprint will not be recognized.

Tengo un iPhone 5s que hoy se le daño el táctil el técnico me dice q no sirve si se repara comprando un nuevo botón xq según el el sistema de huella queda inoperativo y q solo se podrá usar el boton más no serviría la huella quiero saber si es cierto ‘nbnb

I changed the fingerprint sensor and home button but finger print is not working. From iPhone service centre they told it will not work if we replace once.only the original one that come with phone only works
