The dumbbell clean with moderate loads is one of the most metabolically demanding movements. The large range of motion, the number of major muscle groups involved and quick cycle-time create the potential for very high power outputs. The dumbbell clean is less technical, but paradoxically can feel more difficult, than it's barbell counterpart. This is due to the coordination needed to control both dumbbells independently, a staple benefit of dumbbell training.

If we'd have had these videos and tutorials in the mid 90s, my football coach wouldn't have f'd up my back.

He was all about numbers and not technique, and I could lift way more than I could handle with efficient form, but he loved it and kept pushing us.

Hang clean o power clean son dos diferentes o es la misma?? Pensé q el power comie za desde el piso en squat. Y el clean comienza de la rodilla para arriba. O no es así???☝

Looks like @crossfit missed out a step in the tutorial. The part where the athlete opens and fully extends at the hips and then moves the feet into a wider front squat position. Then after standing fully upright with the dumbells, narrows the stance once again. Important stage to reinforce with a beginner because reaching squat depth with a narrow stance is that much harder.
