You should be aloud to do anything you want OFF DUTY and preform professionally. If you get a notice b4 testing and still fail its your fault. Weed is legal in almost 75% of north america.

If you've tested positive for drugs/alcohol since the clearinghouse started and haven't been thru the program, you are going to lose your CDL in November. The only way to get it back is going thru the program and monthly drug screening for a year. (If I read the bulletin correctly).

The problem is drugs don't always make a bad driver. There are plenty of sober drivers out there that shouldn't be on the road also. Unfortunately some things stay in your body long after the effects do and it's not exactly fair to those drivers.
