Yea. Don’t care what branch you’re in. Cadence calling with a dedicated cadence caller is the most fun, fulfilling and incredible thing to see and be a part of. Especially when not only the platoon/battalion is involved but also when everyone sounds great too. How could you not love this.

This is my graduating class. Alpha Company Class 35-22. Also DS Ghee’s last time calling cadence. Special memories I will never forget. I knew it would be my last time doing any cadence so I remember pouring my heart and soul during these last final moments. 68W

Damn I miss the service at times. And at times I truly don’t miss any of it. But unless you have marched in Cadence you truly do not understand the chills and confidence it gives you. I am the man I am today because of my decade in the Army. Best way to spend your youth in my opinion.

My dad was a soldier for 45 years. I was born in an Army hospital. Just a kid in the 70s, early 80s waking up to hearing soldiers running to cadence before the sun came up. Pop survived multiple tours in Vietnam. Deployments to Central/South America, Iraq 1 and 2. Made me promise him I wouldn't join the Army. I honored his wish. Joined the Corps in 91.

Nothing like a good cadence from someone who actually has the passion. Well done, DS. Congrats/welcome to the new Soldiers.

If you ever been in any branch of military you should have goosebumps and smiling because your becoming part of a honor only the special person can do. As a military veteran I love all my heroes who gave this country a blank check on our lives to protect and ensure our freedom

24 years ago I went through bct at Fort Sill Oklahoma. This cadence hasn't changed. I've been out for almost 19 years. I will always remember my experiences and things I learned. This soldiers will forever remember this probably as there best time of there lives. Good luck. May not this be your last rendezvous but the first of many .

To all the men and women who have served, are currently serving, and will be serving in the future…Thank you all for your service, and the sacrifices you all make to protect this great nation. Your hard work and dedication to keeping us free, and our flags flying higher than any other, means more than any of you know. Especially from a country boy like me. Every morning my flag goes up and my thoughts are with you all.

Are we going to ignore how good the Instructors voice is? Him alone carries. I watched this multiple times just to hear his voice again. Lol.

I don't know if I could exactly explain it. It was like one heartbeat combining all of us together. It reminds us of the conviction of protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States and maintain ourselves to the Army values just like the dog gone Spartans. It was a coping tool that when we went to war and we had to be in a subdued state we knew we were still one. To be fearless with a true purpose we March righteously.
