One of my favorite cadences. My gosh, this one sounds amazing with the whole battalion and a deep voiced older enlisted Soldier calling it!

This was the cadence at basic that made me think “oh sh*t, I really joined The Army”.

Hated basic training when i was there, but miss it now. You don't really appreciate things until it's gone. Good memories.

Walking down the street one day, I ran into a Stranger. He asked me, "Who I wanted to be?" I told him, "Airborne Ranger."

Airborne!! (Locked n loaded, Pull the trigger, Shoot that son of a whoo! Airborne!!)

Rangers Lead The Way!!(Die!, Die!, Die! Why won't you die!?, Rangers Lead The Way!!)

I'm sitting in my foxhole sharpening my knife, Out jumps the Enemy!(Oh, Shit!) I had to take his life!

Airborne!! (Locked n loaded, Pull the trigger, Shoot that son of a whoo! Airborne!!)

Rangers Lead The Way!!(Die!, Die!, Die! Why won't you die!?, Rangers Lead The Way!!)

My Buddy's in a foxhole, a bullet in his head. The Medic says, "He's wounded!" But, I know that he's dead.

Airborne (Locked n loaded, Pull the trigger, Shoot that son of a whoo! Airborne!!)

Rangers Lead The Way!!(Die!, Die!, Die! Why won't you die!?, Rangers Lead The Way!!)

I hear the choppers hovering, They're flying overhead. They've come to get the wounded, They've come to get the dead.

Airborne (Locked n loaded, Pull the trigger, Shoot that son of a whoo! Airborne!!)

Rangers Lead The Way!!(Die!, Die!, Die! Why won't you die!?, Rangers Lead The Way!!)

This old Desert Storm soldier be singing cadence going down the highway. I was messing up the lyrics to this one, so i had to come find it. Two of my sons are chuckling saying You hear this old dude? Been out over 30 years and still calling cadence.

Out of all the cadances we had to march to, this one was by far the best. Only because our DS was a Really GOOD singer, and he had that sharp raspy voice and he really threw it, you could hear it across the way. This was the only cadence he would do. We didn't mind because it was like music for us, some of these cadences got MOST soldiers through basic.

It's really interesting to hear the difference versions of this cadence in difference branches. In the navy we have sailors at war. It's definitely recognizable as the same song but it's the navys one

My favorite cadence I led 30 years ago at 3RD Ranger Battalion during P.T.

Let me tell you a story,
A story that should be told.
About an airborne ranger,
His name was Ranger Joe.
