That was me. Calling cadence. Nothing like boots hitting the ground in time. Clapping, singing, and running. So motivating, I use to forget how far we had ran. I miss PT.

I was there the day this was recorded. 1-19th at Sand Hill. Don't remember the specific company, think it was Bravo. I don't remember the name of the drill sergeant calling cadence either. All I can remember is that it was sometime in the evening after Chow. Probably late summer 2002... it was around the same time that 'we were soldiers' was being filmed at Benning. At that time I was working in the Charlie Company office.

I have been in a serious rut with motivation and re-discovering this has put the proud mind of pep in my step as a farm hand. Much respect to the men singing this and its actual context of training soldiers. Just needed this because I get a sense of cool calm and colllected at the same time that it makes me feel like I can do or tackle anything.
