I stared at the pen for a quite a while, but my vision started getting blurry and it freaked me out.

because of tiktok and the decrease of attention spans in people, I want to increase my attention span to not be a mob mentality zombie like most people. When you said to time yourself, I paused the video and did it not knowing you were going to stop us if we looked while the video played. I timed a minute, and when I stopped looking it was only because I didn't want to look anymore.

Take a pen and hold it beside your phone. open a video app and start a video(an attention striking video will be better). Do the test again.

does it count if your eyes are staring directly at your pen the whole time but you find yourself looking at your side vision instead of directly at the center.

I can force myself for a few minutes but if i don’t force myself, then i will find myself thinking a different thing and not seeing what i am looking in a few couple of seconds…

wonder if way to "Snipe test" someone as when KNOW your testing yourself you might go for a good two minutes or more but the importance is want to test without making the brain KNOW its being tested.

i don't get it, u just stare at the pen and don't look at anything else but the tip of the pen, how can you possible get distracted within 8sec

When you started talking I still looked at the pen but also listened to you. Is that a distraction or is it just possible to pay attention to multiple things?
