In order to keep the traditional cookies soft, put a slice of bread or two inside of the container you put them in, they will get and stay soft.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup butter, softened

• 1 Cup sugar

• 2 eggs

• 1/2 cup sour cream

• 1 tsp vanilla

• 1/4 tsp almond extract

• 3 cups flour (I did half all purpose, half cake flour but 3 cups all purpose is just fine)

• 1/2 tsp baking powder

• 1/2 tsp baking soda

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
