Easy Homemade Lofthouse Cookies

If you love soft, delicious sugar cookies with a dash or sprinkles then these Lofthouse Cookies are for you! My copycat recipe will give you super soft, cakey, and sweet sugar cookies with that addictively delicious classic pink frosting. These cookies are super easy to make and taste way better than that grocery store favorite!

If you’ve never tried Lofthouse Cookies before they’re not like classic sugar cookies but more of a cross between a cookie and a cake. They have the softest, melt-in-your-mouth texture and deliciously sweet frosting.

RECIPE FOR THOSE THAT NEED IT

Dough:
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg (room temp)
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream (room temp)

Buttercream:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- food coloring (optional)

these taste SO GOOd, i tried them but i would add more suger and preheat the oven to 350 for 15 minutes and it worked for me!
