9:00 There is actually an SBS from an early volume that suggested Luffy could use a type of rocket-punch by stretching his arm into a punch and then having Zoro cut it off so it can fly forward and hit someone at a distance. There is a note that says the attack can only be used twice though. But with the Chop-Chop Fruit, he could just do all that himself and then reattach his arms!

I think the kilo kilo no mi would un ironically be the best combo with Luffys gum gum fruit bc Luffy can make himself significantly lighter so he can move a lot faster and he can make his punches weigh a lot more and combo this with his gears and he’s unstoppable

I think it’s that BB’s dark fruit keeps his body held together despite eating a second fruit, so maybe Luffy’s body would start to expand but keep stretching until it shrinks back and he gets his second fruit

Do we really know if blackbeard has a special body that allows him to eat multiple devil fruits. Or he was just crazy enough to try it out.

I think his 2nd fruit should be either The Flame Flame Fruit so his Gum Gum Fruit wont have his main weakness of cuts anymore or a brand new fruit that is similar towards his Gear 5 form has

I think the chop chop fruit would be his best second choice. It would negate his one true weakness to cutting attacks.

Honestly I think a perfect compliment to the Nika fruit is actually the Mochi Mochi fruit. It’d get rid of his cutting weakness, add more range and variety, and just make his existing attacks so much more devastating. Plus, if he awakened it alongside the Nika fruit, it’d allow him to recover mid-fight by eating his surroundings he turned to mochi. Although I do agree that the Chop Chop fruit is also huge for him too.

i think flower flower fruit would be crazy. you know it would be over if he uses gatling gun. he can just straight pull up 1000 arms and combine with his rubber abilities.

I think the sick-sick fruit is perfect for Luffy. He can imagine his body doing anything a cartoon could do, while making others rubber like if he touches them. But now Luffy can create whatever type of sickness he wants without making any contact. He could imagine a person with whatever body modifications he wants, he could probably even cure the smile fruit victims of their laughter.

I think the dark fruit would go well with Luffy's fruit because it would boost his physical strength and he will be able to touch his opponents easily nullifying their abilities.

I read a fanfic where Luffy's hat gets Enels goro goro no mi and it'd be insane since Luffy would be the only one immune to it and may also be able to restore his heart beat continuously whilst using gear 5.

I think the barrier barrier fruit is hella OP, with the ultimate defence he can protect all his crew members against anything that they cant beat with raw power

I think the Paw Paw Fruit would also make perfect sense for Luffy.
Luffy is a tank as a Rubber man. So he could tank and tank and keep on tanking then once DMG becomes Critical - boop - now the enemy can take the entire damage from the Paw Paw.
Also Teleportation/Acceleration. (Imagine instead of that huge fist colliding with Kaidos face it would have been a giant palm slapping the living shit out of Kaido with the full force of the paw paw behind it..)

I have a crazy theory.. what if you can eat multiple devil fruits but only certain ones can be paired bc of their will, since each devil fruit has a will of its own, if two wills match i dont see why the two devils wouldnt get along, and we know bb studied the fruits so he would know this

Personally I think Luffy is already showing us that he can immitate whichever fruit he wants to immitate; He grabbed lightning in gear five, and can also create fire. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Luffy could already split his body, since he became cartoonified.

Everyone acts like it’s not explained why Blackbeard can get two devil fruit, but he explained it when fighting ace. It’s because the dark dark fruit makes him absorb things. Like how he absorbs aces fire and feels more pain from it, he absorbs white beards fruit.
