Thank goodness they finally brought the HUD to the U.S. spec Ioniq 6. It was idiotic that the Limited trim didn’t come with it in the first place. I’d really like them to bring the heated rear seats as an option to the U.S, since I think we’re the only market that doesn’t get them on the top spec model. You should ask them why it’s not included in the U.S.!

4:40 We shopped for an Ioniq 6 back in December 2023 and looked at the Digital Green, but did not like how it looked. We went with a Curated Silver which we think looks sharp. I would have liked having a Heads Up Display, but it was not a must have for us. Call us old fashioned. 🤓

I wonder just after renting a Kia EV six or Hertz if the ionic five has the same issue or on the EV six if it can be managed through adjustments, the phone really gets hot on the wireless charger not good for battery life my home wireless chargers do not do that. Just mildly warm. Is there a fix PS I noticed this at night. I didn’t even try charging it in the daylight. And one last thing will the 2025s on both the Kia and Hyundai EV get 5G connectivity like Tesla has on their model three refresh?

Supposedly the new battery and assembly factory in Georgia? or wherever will be building the regular Ioniq 5 starting in October. I’m waiting for that rather than spending a lot on the N. Not sure I want to be a test dummy for a brand new plant tho. Hopefully they’ll take special care to get it right for the early versions.

Will the electrified GV70 have the larger battery for 2025?

Looking forward to the day we have a mid-sized SUV in the Ioniq line. I love my Santa Fe Sport -- it's a great size for a larger family and gets 383 miles on a tank of gas, but we wish there were an electrified version thats close on size and range. EV9 and Ioniq 7/9 are just too big, and the Genesis v70 is beautiful, but lacks cargo space and range.

Ioniq 6 owners got screwed on being the first full OTA update car as well. I assume CCNC was not ready and was likely to launch in Ioniq 6. The press release for Ioniq 6 stated it would be the first fully updatable OTA update car.
