Question. My transmission in 2012 malibu ( no dipstick) i dont think has ever been changed. Started slipping and then wouldn't even change gears. I added 2 quarts and it took it with no problem. If a transmission is super low on fluid can i take more? Its still not wanting to shift. Thanks!

I started my truck and let it warm up for 30 minutes until it was at operating temp before checking the fluid, the dipstick said it was at the cold level even after warming up. I assume this means it is low so i just need to add more fluid?
