This video shows you how to check the automatic transmission fluid level on a Lexus ES 300 car. To accurately check the transmission fluid level on your Lexus ES300 car, you want to drive it at least 10 miles and make sure that it is completely warmed up, then with the car parked and your foot on the break shift at through all of the gears, then put it into park and leave the engine running. Open the hood of your Lexus ES 300, and pull the dipstick out and check the level. It should be between the two markers in the hot range. If it is low, add fluid through the dipstick hole with a funnel until the fluid is within the acceptable range. That is how to check the transmission fluid level on a Lexus ES300 car.

Thank you brother I didn't know if there was an intake for it, but i know now to just dump it into the dipstick.

My dipstick does otherwise
When it's cold before starting engine, the oil level on the dipstick is on the hot indicator, but when cold it's way below the cold mark, I don't know what else to do

Mine is slightly above the top hot mark. Guess I will need to drain some.

Do you drain and fill the transmission fluid every 30k miles?

if its low, can it cause the transmission to slip?

I ran across a 1994 model with low miles like under 50000 but the fluid was gray. Thought that was strange
