This video will show you how to check for transmission fluid level on any 2008 through 2013 Toyota Highlander

THIS IS THE BEST AND VERY AFFORDABLE SCAN TOOL. I ONLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE. I USE IT IN ALL OF MY YOUTUBE VIDEOS.

Thank you for this video. I recently purchased a late model used Mustang and want to be sure all the necessary fluids are clean. Although the car looks great, I have no idea how well the previous owner maintained the car and I am meticulous about that.

Should you put the car through its gears before checking the fluid level. Meaning shift from P, N, D etc. first?

Very good informative video. Thank you, George!

Is there any need to shift through the gears if you start it from cold and warm it up without driving it?

Just wonder if you should use OBD II or scan tool to find out what is the transmission oil temperature. I have the same car but every time I check the level it it slightly different depends on how much I have driven the car.

If in put the dipstick in, IT feels, Like in bend IT before IT is fully in place. To Check the Level, the Stick have to be Füll in?

Was 2014 the first year that they went to the sealed transmissions with no dipstick for the Highlanders? my 2016 is a sealed transmission. By chance do you think there is still the access port on the new transmissions for the no longer required 'dipstick'. Maybe they continued manufacturing them and just plugged that port with a bolt? Wishful thinking but probably not!

Hi, I have a accord 95 AT and I`d want to know if it is the same like your to check the transmission fluid level. When the engine is running the fluid must be on the borrow mark or the upper mark? Thank you.

Is it normal that the ATF is way too low on the COOL marker if the car did not run the whole day? Mine was barely reach the COOL marker after I checked it early in the morning when the car engine was cold.
