Ring Video Doorbell Installation Video

The Ring Video Doorbell is easy to install. If you have integrated doorbell wiring that is compatible with the Ring Video Doorbell, I would suggest that option. If not, there are solar panels for the Ring Video Doorbell and using the battery only and recharging periodically is an option too. Within this video, I install the Ring Video Doorbell on brick beside my front door. I used my existing Doorbell wiring and it works great! #Ring #Howto

I got a call to install a Ring device for a family member and thought I would become familiar with the unit to see what tools to bring; thanks for the video. By the way, when making a loop of wire to go under the screws, ensure the loop of wire is installed clockwise, so the wire loop doesn't open when tightening the screws.

Install would look better if you had used a level before marking and drilling the mounting holes.

you can just get the solar thing for the ring video doorbell instead of wired.

Way too complicated for me. Good thing I’ve ‘got a guy’ who can do/fix almost anything. Knowing me, I’d have a bag of really important-looking stuff leftover.
