its not the same like in windows xp vista or 7 or 8 when u log off and log into another pc my voice app wont work on the other account

I know the video is 3 years old but, when I sign in on “joe”it puts me back onto the original account. Same thing is happening when I initially sign in onto my computer. It’s not letting me get onto my account and I can’t find a fix1 help!

How to switch user from startup when the power button does not give that option, like windows 7? When I turn on my computer it comes up with "Other User" and I gave no clue of that password or username. I cannot switch user because the startup in Windows 10 does not allow switching unless you are already signed in. Please help!

How do I change it from the outside without signing in? Something went wrong when I tried logging into Skype and when I shut down my laptop, my user name changed and now I’m locked on the outside

So I got a new PC and somehow managed to log into my moms account since she's using my email. I've been trying to remove that and change it to mine without losing or having to move my saved files and such over. Is there not a way to do this?

Thank you so much. I have spent the entire day using windows restore to get my files back. Come to find out I was logged into a secondary account. Thanks again.

Thank you. That was a big help. Now, how can I change my computer so that it opens with my account? This morning something happened when I was logging in to my computer. I'm the only user but I still have it pass word protected. This morning though I did something and it opened with a desktop that anyone would use, just basic icons on the desktop none of mine. I couldn't get back to my own user account - until you showed me. So going forward I would like the page to open to me providing a pass word and then moving forward. Can you tell me how to do that?
