The actor seemed to be annoyed and waiting to finish the interview. The interviewer excited and silly. The conversation was not natural.

I would use this same clip to show how NOT to get people to like you. Had I been in the interviewee's place, I'd have never wanted to meet her again. Everything she said cheapened what he said, and came across as an attempt to fit in. I'd rate her charisma (going solely by this video) very low.

When I did improv, the "yes, and" exercise was so key in helping the scenes build up in comedy and energy! It definitely makes you feel heard and supported in a conversation.

I think the only reason the woman's social skills seem barely acceptable is because Tom Hiddleston is walking, talking charisma. Also, it's actually a really instructive video if you look as it as a lesson in dealing with awkward small talk. Tom navigates brilliantly.

To be honest, i don't think this interview is a good example. Contrary to what you said, she doesn't seem authentic at all to me. She is trying way too hard and i think Tom realises this himself. You can tell by how he reacts, after she completed a sentence. That "okay" in the beginning for example or that 1 second of confusion in his face followed by a "yeah... maybe" in the last scene. Her laugh also sounds very forced.

Anyway, that's just my interpretation. I still find your vidoes to be very interesting, so keep it up and have a nice day. =)
