The 70-80', when playgrounds had hard dirt or concrete. None of this 'soft areas'. Having scabs was a badge of honour. Riding downhill fast without a helmet!!

Born in 1979. The 1980s were my childhood. The music was awesome, the movies were awesome, the television shows for the most part were awesome. And the toys are still some of the best toys ever invented. And the all-time best generation is my generation. Generation X!!

All those nights of cruising around town, then hitting the outskirts of town, pitch dark with no streetlights. Just enjoying the freedom of carefree teenage living while listening to 70-80s cassettes! Riding around with friends and stopping to talk with other classmates you saw. Those endless summer nights. I remember being upset or depressed about something and my mother said “these are the best days of your life”….words of wisdom!!!

Love it! I remember in high school my “Pioneer” sound system in my car cost more than my car 😂. And all of the free cassette tapes from Columbia house!

These are spot on! Should also include "Went to every rock concert they could scrape up $15 to attend... without carrying a smartphone. Not only did we survive, but experienced the incredible energy coming from the band and thousands of people engaged and screaming and singing along." Unless you attend a "No cellphones" concert these days, you end up watching the band through the plethora of smartphones blocking your view.

The one I agreed with the most was the last one about the 80's toys. The most painful one was the one about the dodge ball. I can still hear and feel that ball just by looking at a picture of one. And I haven't touched one in nearly 40 years. 😂
