What is Family Guy?
Family Guy is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company that premiered on January 31, 1999. The show revolves around the adventures of the Griffin family. Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Brian, Stewie, Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe are the main recurring characters of the show. The show is set in a wacky fictional town in Rhode Island called Quahog. Most of the show's humor comes from stereotypes and cutaway gags that lampoon American culture. A typical episode of Family Guy is around 21 minutes long. There are currently 21 seasons and 400+ episodes of Family Guy.

As a Hindu, they didn't technically offend Hinduism to the extent they offended other religions. In fact, they portrayed Hinduism in very good light but showed how people interpret us differently. Neither did they offend Buddhism.
