Ariel works fantastic by itself! No need for anything added to it, unless you want a tablespoon of oxy clean added to each wash.

I'm gonna try this today. Im also going to order a mixer for my cordless drill. Im thinking just mix it all up in my 5 gallon bucket with a drill will make it alot easier.

I use a trash bag . Dump all the ingredients, secure the bag really well ( like with a rubber band) and mix it well. Thanks for your video. I Am not familiar with Biz. Is it needed???

Zote will clog your pipes in your washer!! The ariel is a laundry detergent you don’t need the zote is a soap that will actually make your clothes super dingy and make your clothes and towels not absorb water….All you need is the Ariel and the laundry booster arm and hammer and a scent if you want one.

Why are you using the ariel with the zote does it do something imperticular if you mix the 2 together?

Same mix I make but I also add a big bag of Roma and 3 boxes of purex color safe bleach it’s a 1.98 a box works great and also smells amazing and I use Downy bliss beads and the Downy romantic and omg it smells and cleans fantastic keep the Ariel try adding the Roma to your mix next time you won’t regret it cleans fantastic and makes a tote twice that size completely full my tote does have snap handles to keep it closed really well and i also use the Downy bliss dryer sheets please give this mix a try when it’s time for a new batch don’t forget a larger tote it would last the 2 of you about 2 years and that’s using half a cup per load to get that extra clean and long lasting smell and it also keeps your machine clean that’s why I use extra half a cup to clean the clothes and enough to go around and keep my washer fresh and clean!! ❤️

There are some incredients that are unneccessary in a single batch of DIY Detergent. The BASIC recipe is one box of Borax, one box of Washing Soda, and one grated bar of FELS-NAPTHA soap (sold at Walmart and many grocery stores. This basic recipe can be doubled or tripled and this is the one you want if you do not like a strong fragrance in your laundry.

If you wish, you can substitute the ZOTE (one bar) for the FELS-NAPTHA. This can be used for breaking (soaking) laundry as well and you do not need to add anything else. However, I have also had success by adding one small bag of ARIEL to the mix. ARIEL has such a strong fragrance and is so cleansing that I do not feel the need to add scent beads or oxy-clean.

At one-half cup per load, and if the ARIEL is added, the mix will last about 5-6 months. The recipe may be doubled.
