5 Minutes | 5 Steps | Makeup Tutorial

From teens to busy moms and everyone in-between this video has 5 simple steps to apply makeup! I've done them in an order that's quick and easy so it shouldn't take you more then 5 mins.

STEP 1 : Foundation
How to apply foundation evenly, with medium coverage and a natural finish. The foundation I used set to a powder finish so you can skip powder, unless you have very oily skin!

Foundation: L'Oreal True Match N1

STEP 2: Eyebrows
Shaping your brows makes a huge difference! To me this is one of the most important steps which is why I put it second! If you're brows take forever to "put on" in the morning try getting them tinted and shaped at a brow bar!

Step 3: Lashes
Okay so step 3 is really two steps, Curl your lashes and apply mascara. It shouldn't take you too long. Little Tip: Curl and apply mascara one eye at a time!!

Step 4: Lips
If you only get step 1-3 done before you have to rush out the door you can always do step 4 on the tube/bus or in the car (Not while driving please!) If you don't like lipstick, lipgloss or a little lip balm like vaseline will do the trick!

Step 5 : Cheeks
I don't wear a lot of blush personally but it can complete a look so pat on a little lipstick and blend with clean finger tips, perfect for on the go! I used lipstick so you can pop it in your hand bag but feel free to use whatever blush you like :)

Love the video Sinead.  I usually take it one step further by patting/blending a little of the lipstick on the eye crease blended out to temples (does depend on the lipstick you're using but it works beautifully with nudes, browns and soft pinks). I also do it with a powder blush if I'm not using the lipstick as the blush.

It would be so easy and quick to add to this look as well! Perhaps a slick of eyeliner or even quicker for some definition maybe a matte eyeshadow blended above and/or below the eye?
