Classic Old school Jason. There are very few of these videos about this topic that exist so it was great to find this one to be able to add to my pre take off briefing speech.

It’s great to say the evolution of your videography skills over the last decade! Keep on putting out great content. Also, as another mentioned, would be great to see this in the 31 days safer pilot challenge

Excellent Jason! I would just add that I like to brief the normal T/O plan followed by the contingencies. "Planned T/O today will be a VFR departure on RWY heading to 1000 AGL then turning south towards CTF VOR and continuing my Vy climb to 3500'. Performance check: I want to be airborne by the A1 intersection. Contingencies: ..." Then discuss the possible disasters as per your video. Thanks for all you do! I always learn a thing or two from your videos! Keep up the good work!

Thank you for these videos. Can you please clarify something for me?
How do you exit to the N or S(let's say my C heading is directly N or S)if the runway is E and W? Exit 45 degrees L or R from the upwind and then find your direct course from the departure airport?
