Never ever put cold beer together with cold beer. Warm up the beer separate and then put it together. Otherwise it makes the meat hard. Always use pigs cheeks and a strong brown beer (st Bernardus 12). 10 min before ending put a slice white bread with mustard on it in the stew (tot make the sauce more solid) 😁
