I as a single father made this meal for my family. Thinking if it doesn't turn out right there's always takeout. But to my amazement, it came out great which is an understatement, to say the least. I was sitting there with the biggest smile on my face as my family dug into the Stew and wanted more. Thank you for your receipt which will stay in our family for years to come.

I live in Belize Central America. I live among the Mayans who mostly eat rice and beans, chicken. They cook on wood fires and in hand made earthen stoves. I introduced this stew to my workers, as I made a rather large pot of it and was in no way to eat it all myself. Apparently, my stew was taken to several people in the village to feed their families. The response was crazy! I am currently making a pot four times the size you made of stew to take to the village. They have never had Beef Stew before. These are poor people who could never afford the ingredients to this meal. Honestly it would take a weeks pay to afford this one pot of stew. So they are very excited with this. I will continue to provide them with this treat as often as I can. Thank you from the southern jungles of Central America. Raven

I like that she is straight to the point and no need to loiter about showing how to chop onions, carrots and celery! Well done! I got the steps !

So I decided to try my hand at making a meal for my family for the first time. I found this video and tried it out. My family and I agreed that this stew gets a 20 out of 10!! It was phenomenal and we ate every bit of the pot! Thank you so much for this and for doing a great job explaining each step!

She isn’t lying y’all!! I invited some friends for a boxing day lunch and made this. There was no left overs, and everyone was raving about how incredible the stew was!! This is definitely going to be added to my list of go-to recipes. Thank you for sharing this! Xx

Had this for dinner tonight and it was the best stew I ever had never mind made! And the kids loved it! Added a little barley and green beans just bc I love both in my stew. Warmed up buttered baguette from Costco for dipping and delish! Total comfort food on a cold winter night. Don’t fret adding the wine doesn’t taste like alcohol at all and adds depth. So good!

I made this today and I am blown away how delicious this stew is! I seasoned my stew meat and flowered the meat before I sautéed it. But followed the recipe after that. I will make this a lot this winter!

I made this yesterday...and it turned out AMAZING. My fiance is still raving.
I only adjusted two things to the recipe. I used pearl onions, and I just cooked each of the elements in my stew pot instead of separate skillet. No skillet to clean in the end and still got the desired result. I will be making this stew a lot. Thank you, Tatyana. And you are lovely, btw.

Made this 2 days ago and it was sooo good. Meat was super tender, potatoes are soft but still held their shape, and broth was perfect. I had to omit celery b/c I forgot it but it still turned out amazing. Pair this with buttered some baguette, trust me!

Some suggestions; the beef was crowded in the pan and as a result it was more steamed than seared as you can see from the large amount of water she ended up with in the pan. Use only the stew pot; sear the meat in batches and remove to a plate. Then cook the mirepoix in the stew pot but add generous amount of tomato paste when it is nearly cooked which adds a nice carmelization. Deglaze the pot with wine. Easy on the worcestershire. No sugar needed.
