Shopping List:
2 lbs Beef Stew Meat (Chuck Roast)
1 lb small red potatoes
3-4 carrots
1 Yellow Onion
3-4 stalks of Celery
1 tbsp Garlic Paste
3 cups Beef Broth or stock
2 tbsps Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
Fresh Rosemary and Thyme
1 tbsp Better than bouillon Beef Base
2 Bay Leaves
Salt, Pepper, Garlic, Onion Powder, Italian Seasoning, Cayenne
2-3 tbsps flour
1 cup frozen peas

Directions:
Start by seasoning your meat. Get skillet smoking hot and sear meat on all sides until you get a nice crust. Remove meat once color has developed and then add in your onion and carrots. Cook until tender. Next, add your tomato paste and beef base. Mix to combine. Add your flour and cook for 1-2 minutes or until raw flour is cooked off. Add beef stock and bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.

Next, add in your Worcestershire sauce, fresh herbs and bay leaves. Cover and cook on low for 1.5 - 2 hours or until Beef begins to get tender. Next, add in your potatoes and celery for the final 20-30 minutes. Season to taste. Once the beef is fork tender and the veggies are tender, you can serve it. Serve in a bowl or over some white rice.

Finally somebody said it and this guy did.

I am chef and soup and stews are my specialty. I do high heat dear the beef and also I Sautee the celery and carrots and onions seperately. Then add all together for a final heat to boil. So good. This looks delicious. Carrots take longest so carrots seperate and onions and celery after carrots. .I have sauteed them all together as well and some people will notice a difference in flavors when seperated and sauteed seperate.

Made this beef stew last night and it turned out perfect. Great tip on salting the meat with salt only to sear to avoid the burning. Loved it!!

Chop a large onion and dice half and quarter the other half. Salt and pepper some flour and toss the beef in it, then sautee. This makes a thickner for the stew. You won't have to add flour. I like to add peas near the end.

This is by far the easiest beef stew I have come across. As an African who wants to make this stew for my husband, simple and easy ingredients that are accessible for all and also look amazing. Can't wait to try!

This came out excellent. As a single dude I always look for food that will last for a few days so I don't have to cook everyday. This recipe was awesome! Many thanks

I'm a home chef with 45 years under my belt and my husband says I make a killer beef stew, but I was getting a little bored with it so I started searching YouTube for some different methods just for funzies. I stumbled across Mr. Make It Happen. I watched, enjoyed the method and the commentary and decided to make it his way because why not...and BOOM!!!! My husband RAVED and it beat my best stew! Color me surprised!
You have earned a like and subscribe from me, and if YouTube had a way to add kisses you'd have one square on your cheek, sir! Thank you so much for sharing.
Now I'm going to go binge Mr. Make It Happen for more ways to beat my best!🥰

I made this last night...OMG! I added 2 splashes of Cabernet Savignon just because I had some. It was great. I think I salted the meat too much but the potatoes pulled most of that back. The meat was crazy tender! It's definitely staying in rotation. Thank you for sharing. 😋
