To train your cat to do their business in the litter box (for kitties):
1. When training a cat to go into a litter box, use the paper that you used for stimulation or the paper that you use to stimulate her to go pee so she can be familiar with her pee scent. Let the kitten smell it.
2. If she/he is having a hard time with the litter box, (like mine), stimulate her in the litter box so she knows where to do her business.
3. Give her praise when she goes to the bathroom!!
4. If she's still having a hard time keep trying this method. If she really is having a hard time put her face by her pee scent so she could smell it again, although I don't recommend this cause my cat would get freaked out.

Wow, thank you for the advice. All I had to do was have 3 litter boxes for my three young cats, and now they all potty in their own box with zero accidents ! ! I clean their boxes everyday that only takes 4 minutes total ( timed myself ) and now we all are happy campers. The key again was a litter box for each cat and clean them each day.

Wee rescued my kitten a few months ago not from a shelter it was from under my porch and she was born there and raised there but her mother left her so we rescued her and she new how to use the litter box right away and she LOVES baths

2:28 under most circumstances, do not clean it with soap otherwise it will smell differently to what it did before so your cat might get uncomfortable as it may seem like a new litterbox to them

My cats a street cat I picked up behind my dads work and we brought him home and we got him treated for worms and fleas and now he is a happy, healthy 8 month old orange tabby and his name is Hurcules!!

I picked my cat up, sat him in the litter box and then I rubbed his front two paws in the litter. That’s it. He’s been using the litter box ever since. The whole training process took less than a minute. My cat is exceptionally smart though so it might not be the same for everybody

Some people believe pushing a cat's nose gently in the area where it pooped, not directly in the poop that's already been cleared up, and then gently pop her in her tray nose first, she will learn to use the litter tray more quickly and better. But some people think that's cruel. Dog poop however is more difficult to manage because a poop scoop and doggy poop bags outside is what a dog needs. And a dog who puts its own nose in its own poop is gross.
