Speaking of Nihilus, I freaking loved the black and white short-comic "Unseen, Unheard", which shows how he destroyed Visas Marr's planet. The "Tales" comic were a treasure

It was cool that Nihilus reappeared as the guardian of the Holocron in the Legacy comics. His cameo was basically this:

Even Palpatine considered Nihilus and Vitiate's "Planet-eater" Powers to be Off-limits.

Darth Nihilus ate more planets than the Death Star 1 and Starkiller base destroyed combined.

In Canon Starweirds are said to be capable of eating planets I just wonder if it takes one Starweird or multiple and if they do it similarly to Darth Nihilus but the whole concept of being able to eat a planet by sucking away the life of it is terrifying I hope we get to see something like that happen on screen one day it would be different compared to the super laser planet destructions we have seen before

Although not the same, but Emperor Vitiate could devour whole worlds as well, but he had to be able to connect to the people living on the planet. Like Ziost.

Vitiate devoured every bit of life energy on Nathema, but the difference is that it took the cooperation, at least initially, of a couple hundred other Sith Lords. Vitiate also didnt need to do this to survive, he chose to do the ritual in order to gain immortality. Nihilus wasn't immortal and he had to consime all of these lives in order to live. They both could destroy a planets worth of life, but the results were very different and it was done for very different reasons.

and he was defeated when kreia tricked him into thinking telos iv had a jedi academy to feed on but really there was only 1 force user there. he then started to consume himself with nothing else to feed on.
