I'd argue that Vitiate stopped being a Sith once he performed his ritual on Nathema. At that point he became more of a malevolent force entity similar to Abeloth.

Power comes in many forms, like you said. Revan was a brilliant and ruthless tactician, Nihilus was a void in the force itself, and Bane was shrewd. They all could have destroyed the Jedi if it weren’t for infighting and a bit of luck :)

Yes, Darth Vitiate was definitely the most powerful. Although his powers were beyonf anything we could possibly hope to see onscreen, what made him incredibly dangerous was his innate talent at cultivating the Dark Side in other people, making them perfect servants for his Empire.

Tenebrae: *Is so powerful he's known as the ancient dark entity and it took the entire galaxy to chill out for a moment and be like "maybe we should take this guy out...?" And still Tenebrae slapped them nonstop even with revan having to do some Voodoo crap to revive everyone again and again and again and

Palpatine: *gets thrown down elevator shaft*

The direction that Disney took with Palpatine after RoTJ was a HUGE slap in the face and I can't get over it! 😠

Vitiate defeated darth revan and darth malak at the same time with ease and achieved immortality when sidious and most other sith were unable to and has a force drain stronger than nihilus

Hard to imagine someone who stopped the entire rebel fleet single handedly using dark side of the force

I think with everything we saw from Vitiate the only people who could defeat him solo are full potential Anakin and Legends Luke. No one else stand a chance, Sidious and Yoda could give him a strong battle but still lose in the end Mace Windu might counter him a bit with Vaapad but his mastery of the Dark Side was so strong that it could even bypass Wndus Vaapad. Vitiate could even clap his old master Marka Ragnos who was also a beast in the Dark Side and a legendary Sith Lord

Vitiate managed to be three people at once, and all three of them were ridiculously powerful.

Yes hands down Darth vitiate is the most powerful Sith Lord due to his mastery of the dark side and how he was able to affect galactic events way longer than Sidious could ever hope to accomplish.

One thing I always found interesting was that while the Sith Warrior (Emperor's Wrath) and the Jedi Knight have the most tightly connected story lines to Vitiate, the Sith Inquisitor has strong parallels to his story as well. A lone sith, with blood connections, but denied heratige, who is very powerful despite this and grew in power by devouring the essence of others. The key diffrence is that the Inquisitor isn't as devoted to malice as Vitiate, and their consumption was on a much smaller scale.

Vitiate lost his "humanity" entierly, while the Inquisitor can be quite evil, they never go to the same lengths as the Sith Emperor.

I too would chose Valkorion. Simply due to one, arguable scene in the first major confrontation between Arcann and the player. Essentially, Valkorion gives you a choice, let him help you, or not. If you let Valkorion help you, he unleashes a blast of force lightning so powerful that essentially, what Palpatine did to the Resistance fleet, was just a byproduct.

I find Vitiate is extremely interesting, gaining rank in the empire as a scholar in a culture that values warriors.

I personally think it's tulak hord due to him ruling for hundreds of years without losing once

Darth Vitiate was able to create voids in the force. That's ultimately the most powerful. The void even made Darth Bane himself feel sick.

Pretty sure 90% of the comment section doesn‘t know what Sidious did in Legends…
