Awesomely refreshing content! Regarding the rational vs emotional advertising discussion, one thing missed out on is how emotional advertising disappears when lower level execs(when they are the ad viewers) have to communicate value to multiple stakeholders, i.e. rational msging is required in this case. emotional advertising works better for top level decision makers.

When the title says B2B marketing. Pls refrain from giving examples of B2C marketing. Companies like Taco bell, Geico insurance, McDonalds are not the perfect examples to learn principles of B2B marketing.

In my experience, many marketers tend to rely on standard practices without investigating the underlying data or reasons behind them, particularly in B2B marketing. This can lead to missed opportunities for improving their strategies and ultimately driving more leads and sales.

What's more, I find that many marketers don't always consider the critical relationships between marketing, sales, and the products they're promoting. By working closely with all stakeholders and maintaining open lines of communication, marketers can better align their strategies and ultimately drive better results for their clients.
