In this video, Chris Ward covers adding the Call Park functionality to Lync 2013. Many of us remember using legacy or a PBX phone system to take a call, put it on hold, and retrieve it elsewhere. See what PowerShell commands enable this in Lync 2013.

Call Park isn't just putting a call on hold. With Call Park configured, you can take a phone call in one place — maybe the break room — and transfer it to your desk. But you can also do quite a lot more.

With Call Park set up, you can use a mobile device, desk phone, or any other call-enabled device to take a parked call. Or you can text or message someone else with a link to the call, and they can take the call by clicking the link.

That call has to go somewhere when it gets parked, and to do that, you'll need to know the right PowerShell commands and where to type them in. Watch and see how to park and transfer calls in Lync 2013.
