This is rediculous. I'm tired of $700+ phones doing this crap. This is not acceptable. Every single freaking phone ctaps out after a few months. Rediculous.

My Pixel 8 is experiencing just now. My only remmedy is to press the bottom part of the display or hit the bottom side of the phone, lightly, on the table or any hard surface.

This is ridiculous. I'm sending mine in for RMA.

I have to karate chop the back (where the back-tap feature is) just to get it to stop freaking the fuck out

Edit: RMA procedure actually went really well. It was free and they sent it back in like 2 days after fixing it.

This happened to me today on my pixel 8 with Android 15. I had to factory reset my phone. After that it still took a few hours to correct itself.

How to fix this I also realized sometimes my phone also some flickering on screen but it's not too much

I've reset my phone and it's still not solving the issue and it just seems to happen when I'm outside .

It is not just a bug it's the LED panel is failing factory reset works temporarily until it updates again. It is under warranty. T-Mobile is replacing me for free. What makes the whole situation worse is this this actually been an issue since beta Android 13. I used to be part of the beta of software tester until the same issue bricked my pixel. 6 I was able to recover my information and unenroll from the beta program. Never had an issue again until last Friday. If you could find the patch update before December and roll back to that you should be fine for the time being

Mine seems to have this issue when its in my pocket and I'm physically working on a humid / warm / hot day. Ive been a tradesman since mobile phones became the norm and this is the second phone that has ever had this issue. The first being the same model Pixel 8 that I had to replace. I think the slightest bit of moisture affeects something with this phone.

Since yesterday i am facing this problem green screen flickering and after some time it get set but if i locked my phone then same problem occurs my Phone is pixel 7a

Last week, my P7 Pro was flickering and eventually degraded to a dead screen over a few days. WTF Google.

It's so disappointing to buy such an expensive phone with crappy system...I feel like smashing this phone coz it randomly switches itself off
