i'm honestly just shocked by how thick the bezels are, i was comparing them to my pixel 8's throughout the video and i'm wowed by the chin especially😭😭 i did get slightly confused with the data comparisons as i thought you were comparing to the regular 8 (through no fault of your own i lose focus sometimes) great video!

Yes, Pixel 8 had $150 discount. But it was a few days ago. It is priced at $699 now.

I miss the $299-$399 budget option for the Pixels, if they were available here they would be an easy recommendation for non-techy people I know

I'm in Australia. I went out today to do some research on a new phone. I've only owned an iPhone. I discovered that many retailers here are offering the 8 for around $1200, which is nowhere near a new iPhone price, while you can buy the 8A normally for around $850. However, they are offering $300 cashback and $149 trade-in on my iPhone. That's around $400! Here in Australia, that is super cheap. So, it is very hard to consider much else at this stage.

A few years ago, when I went to college, I went from Samsung to a pixel. Pixel 2 XL and I swear it was your video that sold me completely on it. It has been the best phone and I love it. I've gone through 3 devices all being pixel 2 XLs since 2017. I want to upgrade so bad but I haven't found the right one yet and this economy ain't it. I've really been considering the pixel 7 or 8, but I like the smaller size of the A series phones. Hopefully my 2XL can hold out a while longer till the prices come down.
