My 6a has that green tint on an ultra-low brightness, but it's more likely due to a cheap OLED panel used.

Only took me 5 minutes to realize that there's no settings regarding anything with the color green, so I just restarted and everything was fine

You will fix it by turning off the smart resolution 9hz from display settings

Everyone who is facing this problem, you can disable dark mood, that resolves the issue 70%

I have the exact same problem on my Pixel 6 Pro. Is the only way to replace the AMOLED Display to fix it? :/

Edit: You actually have to replace your screen, because its an Hardware/AMOLED issue sadly and those cant be repaired, only replaced. Be aware to replace the screen only with a original one tho! I bought mine from iFixit because they sell original parts only. They are still kinda expensive, but luckily dropped a bit in price after the Pixel 8 got released.
And if you replace it yourself, make sure to program the new fingerprint reader, because they come together with the new screen, and need to be programmed when replaced. But for this you have enough tutorials on YT for replace and program.
I wouldnt recommend removing the old fingerprint scanner from the old screen and putting it on the new one, because you have a extremy high risk of breaking your screen and scanner. Just program the new one that comes with the screen. In theory it should be easy to do that, because Google itself has got like a "Fixingmode" for that scanner. Otherwise I had some troubles and software issues there and a lot extra steps to make it work, but Google also does give you steps for Troubleshooting if it wont work like intended.
Screen replacement took me about 15 Minutes. Programming the fingerprint scanner took me about 1 hour, because of the problems I had. But normally this will also only take like 10 mins.

I hope I could help with that long text🤝🏻
