Wait... are people really attacking a tricking channel for showing you how to do tricks?

Divertente e spettacolare. Ottimo atletismo e bella performance. Sinceri complimenti. Bisogna chiarire però che è una forma sportiva di intrattenimento. Nulla a che vedere con una autentica tecnica schermistica.

2:18 if you do this with a sharp blade and miss, you will injure if not kill yourself.
I was sent this by a friend and initially thought it to just be someone who seems to not have been trained in Kenjutsu or Iaijutsu a hollywood dojo without an understanding of the technical skill or philosophies of those arts. I was quite happy to move on and say nothing but this "stance" to me is very dangerous and someone untrained with a sharp blade attempting any of this will harm themselves.

Please be more responsible and take some time to understand the sources of these arts as theres nothing here that looks even remotely close to actual sword fighting from the Japanese schools. I've been training these arts for almost a decade and I understand you arent claiming to represent either but this looks ridiculous and dangerous.

Thank you so much for this! I just got my own katana so this is really fun to learn!

Do you test these techniques in sparring? Are you testing it against opponents who do not want to get hit and try to hit back?
