I absolutely love that they put in the Torchwood Soundtrack during this scene. For those who watched Torchwood get a burst of fandom; for those that didn't but remember the Torchwood arc in Series 2 get a burst of nostalgia and possible confusion as to why the Torchwood theme is encompassing Jack. Neat details along with Jack's old "nanogenes" theme from Series 1 comes back when Jack comes back to life. ☺️💜

The Doctor's "blogging" outburst is pretty unjustified. Jack and Martha are being pretty immature, but they have a right to know why the Doctor seemed to know about Jack's survival and choosing to abandon him anyway.

Jack really needs more time on the main show. I loved Torchwood, but his interactions with the Doctor are great. I want to see an episode with the new Doctor (though I still wish Tennant was staying), Jack... and River. How epic would Jack and River be?

Okay idk who does the casting for doctor who and torchwood but my god do they deserve my respect for introducing me to some of my fav actors. Tennent, barrowman, eccleston, piper and many more, like who found these people?

I think the blogging comment clearly encapsulates what separates the Time Lords from the humans he loves so much. They're social, and despite what the Doctor says, he lacks some of that love for learning everything about an individual.
