"The interface is hot." "Well, I do my best!" Great exchange.

"The interface is hot!"
"Well I do my best."
Priceless witty lines all through this scene. But, that's true of the whole show.

The saddest part about this episode was the look on Dr 10's face when the War Dr mentioned the "wolf girl". His need to see his Rose was so apparent and desperate that it broke my heart when i saw it.

" It's not a chair ! It's the most dangerous weapon in the universe ! " Can't it be both ? " - PRICELESS. Billie Tyler was great as The Moment.

This to me explained the Doctor's attachment to Rose right from the start. An ordinary girl that seemed to have no ties to the Doctor or time or the grand scheme of things. But she did. Explains why he can't leave her behind, let her go, tries to keep her with him or any part of him at any cost. It's because of this moment. He can't remember this, but deep down he knows she's important. Nine saves her, then tracks her down, then leaves her behind and STILL ends up coming back for her. Why? Because she is the Moment. She the first and last face that Ten ever sees. He nearly self destructs when he loses her. The most important part of his past or future.

This scene is so well directed! Especially the camera placements and movement.

I haven't seen anyone commenting that before and I thought it deserverd some complimenting.

Matt Smith was absolutely right to suggest giving that speech to John Hurt, he delivered it brilliantly.

I just giggle at the Moment going "It's from your past! ...possibly your future, I always get those two mixed up..."

To be honest, I think having the Moment/Rose interact only with the War Doctor is a far more brilliant move than a lot of people give it credit for.

To everyone else, Rose is a past companion. From the War Doctor's perspective, however, she's a FUTURE companion. This is significant as the War Doctor, by his own admission, doesn't believe he has a future. He's convinced he's going to die along with the rest of his people, and that he doesn't deserve to go on. He's very much at his lowest point here. Then along comes the Moment in the form of Rose as if to say "Chin up! You ARE going to have a future! You ARE going to travel with companions again! And you ARE going to deserve it, because I'm going to show you an alternative to genocide."

To Ten and Eleven, she would have only represented the pain of the past. To the War Doctor, however, she represents the hope of the future. And I think that's a very lovely sentiment.

I like that she constantly changes location in the room but you never see her actually move. Great subtle detail to add to the fact she's not really there.

"I hear you... ALL OF YOU.. I chose this face and form especially for you.." This means no matter how long time has passed since BadWolf Bay, the Doctor still thinks about Rose. Rose Tyler still haunts the doctor's mind.

"Stuck between a girl and a box, story of your life, eh, doctor?"
A truer sentiment have never been said

Billie Piper was amazing in the Day of the Doctor. Her portrayal as the moment with flashes of Rose was sheer brilliance.

"Didn't you want her to see it?"
"Want who to see?"
"The TARDIS..."

The TARDIS is easily my favourite Doctor Who character.

I am now utterly convinced that the Moment, the Bad Wolf and Rose Tyler are all one and the same. After Rose interfaced with the Vortex, she mentioned that she "created myself, " and scattered herself in the form of the "Bad Wolf" message across time and space. I assume that she also left fragments of "herself" in other forms so that she could be present at the Doctor's darkest moments, in this case, in the form of the most powerful weapon in history.

Many of the eccentric mannerisms exhibited by the Moment here are strongly reminiscent of the Doctor if they were faced with a similar situation. I believe that this was deliberate on the Moment's part, to remind the Doctor of what they were and what they could be again. These actions also gave the War Incarnation pause and forced him to think, really think about what he was going to do--another hallmark of various previous Incarnations.

Bad Wolf Rose is easily so powerful that, if it was of a mind to, and if it was what the Doctor truly wished, she could wipe out the whole of history, just like that. But the Moment wanted to make sure that this is what the War Incarnation really wanted, because, being a timeless, omnipresent entity, the Bad Wolf was absolutely certain that the Doctor would come around and do the right thing. Whatever changes the Doctor goes through, I firmly believe the Bad Wolf is the one constant in the Doctor's life, a steadfast reminder of the power of love to triumph over hate and fear.
