You can definitely grow your abs working them out lol they’re still a muscle and will grow with proper training. It will make getting them to show easier as well. Like if you train your abs and grow them in size you can see them at like 14-15% bf but without training them directly you usually have to get to 10-11% bf in my experience.

This is one of the biggest lies the fitness community has ever told. Training abs is exactly how you get abs. I’ve trained and built up my abs through bulks so much that now I can still see my top 4 abs at 16-18% body fat. When I’m 13-14% I can see my lower abs somewhat and when I hit 11% my full 6 back is there. On top of just seeing the abs having a strong core is one of the most important things you can have for functionality and sports. There’s a reason fighters train their core so much. Please train your abs kids.

Yes having a low body fat % will SHOW your abs, but training them will GROW your abs

You should do core for stability though if your struggling with squats and stuff and it’s skit generally something good to implement into your workout regimen

I do hanging leg raises, kettle bell oblique side bends and 2 min Plank, rest for 2 mins and then repeat once or twice more
